Job Summary:

This position will support the Shanghai Disney Resort Marketing, Sales, Finance, RM&A, Operations, Food and Beverage, Merchandise, Entertainment, and WDI departments by conducting consumer research.


  • Manage all phases of the market research process including identifying research needs, project design, research methodology design, analysis, and presentation of results;
  • Observe, track, and analyze trends in consumer behavior, lifestyle and value changes and work with partners to explore future business opportunities and identify challenges;
  • Extract objective, clear and actionable insights based on the findings of different data and studies so that senior management can make decisions based on facts;
  • Present key findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant personnel;
  • Maintain good working relationships with partners in different business units to help them solve business problems with consumer insights and to ensure that business strategies are developed from a consumer perspective;
  • Manage external primary research and data vendors and build strategic partnerships with them.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in the field of consumer insights;
  • Proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, with experience in future research and product innovation workshops preferred;
  • Good critical thinker able to identify core issues and design research solutions in a complex business environment;
  • Ability to apply innovative research methods to solve problems;
  • Ability to extract consumer insights from data and interviews as a means of generating business insights and recommendations, and to present research findings clearly;
  • Skilled at team communication and collaboration and able to manage conflicts of interest between parties;
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills;
  • Possessing good presentation skills;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
