In view of Southeast Asia’s growth, we are now looking for an Advertising Sales Manager for the ESPN team. Partnering closely with our Senior Manager, Partners & Promotions for Ad Sales, your role will be summarized as the below:-
  • Drive ad sales and be responsible for the revenue targets for ESPN digital properties in SEA.
  • Manage the day to day functioning & relationship with partners in SEA – Advertisers, Supply Side Platform's (SSP) and Affiliates.
  • Knowledge of Programmatic / Ad tech landscape, strong relationship with agency trading desks.
  • Work & develop a cost/reach media matrix based on the available tools – Comscore, Adobe Analytics for selling ESPN digital properties.
  • To liaise with Ad-Operations team in India to ensure timely execution of campaigns and post report.


  • To deliver on the ESPN digital media sale targets in SEA.
  • To manage the relationship with the key decision makers (Media directors, Marketing heads) of various advertising partners in SEA.
  • Strategic inputs on the sales related functions of team to the Head of Sales SEA - Rate card & product costing
  • To provide weekly sales forecast and pacing report to the Head of Sales SEA.
  • To assist in any other management report when required by the Head of Sales SEA.
  • To provide sales and market condition updates on a regular basis.
  • Expected to assist in planning and executing of sales strategy.
  • To provide creative ideas and custom solutions to the market place.
  • Coordination with various ESPN offices for regional advertises
Area of accountability:-
  • Accountable for ad sales Target for SEA.
  • Developing the advertising market for ESPN digital properties for brands who wish to target ASIA, US or European consumers on ESPN digital properties.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Ad Sales experience, preferably in digital/ad tech environment.
  • Extensive experience in Singapore with knowledge of programmatic landscape.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits within SEA.
  • A team player with strong sales and account servicing skills.
  • Strong entrepreneurial, creative approach to sales with a proven ability to work with business development and marketing to generate revenue and long term partnership opportunities.
  • Excellent people/relationship skills and the ability to transcend boarders/cultures.
  • Strong negotiation and deal making abilities.
  • Strong spoken and written communication in English, Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong presentation skill.
  • A reputation for excellence sales and getting things done and able to break new grounds.
