Job Summary:

The Manager, Marketing Operations manages and performs the routine functions for the execution and delivery of marketing messages across email, push & in-app channels to the highest levels of quality as part of our marketing operations team. In addition, this person administers user lifecycle messaging tests to drive experimentation and draw learnings from strategies defined by our marketers.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Marketing Operations lead and following standard processes:
  • Manages regional intake, solutioning design, build and release
  • Reviews intake requirements for messaging campaigns
  • Loads all assets into the marketing technology platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze) via UI or other methods
  • Builds the campaign on the platform (e.g. HTML email)
  • Completes quality assurance and resolves any discrepancies (such as rendering issues)
  • Sends proofs to lifecycle marketeers seeking approval for the artifact
  • Activates the campaign deployment of the messaging campaigns
  • Maintains audit trail in JIRA and documents completion

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years coding in HTML, CSS and template scripting languages (Ampscript, Liquid)
  • Experience leading
  • Experience with segmentation for marketing campaigns, with knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with email/push/in app platforms (Salesforce, Braze) preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce user journeys and triggered messages
  • Experience with quality assurance using email rendering platforms such as Litmus, Email on Acid
  • Experience with Software development methodology (SRUM, Kanban)
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with team measurement (e.g. burn down, capacity)
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible and willing to assist other team members
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with quick turnaround while being calm under pressure
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and other regional languages
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
