- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
Regional Business Development
Support development and growth of new business for Third-Party Commercialization (Licensing), leveraging Disney owned brands/franchises: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Nat Geo, etc.
Undertake consumer and industry research to identify key consumer trends, competitive dynamics, new technologies, emerging players, etc.
Participate in the negotiation process with external business partners to establish profitable and innovative new business models
Support new business projects, working closely with Account Management, Marketing, Finance, and other support functions
Identify and assess potential “white space” expansion and potential new business models/partners
Perform financial analysis to assess and quantify potential growth opportunities
Key Account Management
Support in the management and growth of key regional and global key accounts within allocated categories
Partner with several regional partners and support development of growth plans aligned with consumer, retailer and region needs
Support management of day-to-day relationship with licensees including onboarding, contract negotiation, identifying opportunities, problem solving, and marketing
Develop/Contribute to internal and external retail presentations and product line reviews
Provide product and licensee information to the retail and marketing teams to support retail meetings and presentations
Inform and guide licensees in the execution of marketing initiatives
5+ years’ business development, account management experience in consumer industry
Excellent presentation, communication, networking and influencing skills
Knowledge of consumer industry/retail industry in SE Asia. India and Middle East knowledge/experience will be a plus
Project management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical skills
Capable of working independently and managing a variety of initiatives / opportunities simultaneously
Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, entrepreneurial, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
