Executive, Client Servicing & Content Distribution (1-year contract)

Job Summary:

Responsible for servicing of delivery of various types of content request, including but not limited to, digital broadcast materials for allocated clients and Disney's digital platforms across specific markets, within agreed timelines, technical specifications and localized requirements. The servicing includes sales distributions, digital platforms, owned nonlinear media services, and for any other ad hoc work related to content preparation supporting various businesses in the Asia Pacific regions. Demonstrating excellent customer focus and communication skills, the ability to prioritize and remain calm under pressure is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Account manage content delivery to specific platforms, and across assigned projects
  • Review all assigned deals to determine delivery requirements and priorities
  • Co-ordinate end to end delivery of technical materials, and supplementary metadata to clients
  • Research Disney library systems to establish available elements and request movements as required
  • Raise accurate and timely internal and external orders
  • Update and maintain data accuracy in all application systems used by the operation and business functions such as content management systems and their media processing systems
  • Liaise with Content Operations, Localization team, Operations team in Burbank or vendors to source content, and if any issue, resolve material rejections and co-ordinate repair work and replacement materials
  • Action recall notifications and update materials as required
  • Provide support to clients and vendors in the use of Disney and 3rd Party systems
  • Push files via Digital delivery utilities as required
  • Ensure clients are recharged costs where appropriate via designated systems
  • Help control the logistic flow by monitoring and tracking assets and production movement, end to end workflow process of all requests to ensure that the assets are processed in time for delivery to clients
  • Manage any shipping operations
  • Help track details of all the operational problem, investigate and provide solutions
  • Ensure that documentation of all aspects of standard operational procedures is kept and up-to-date
Communication Requirements:
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Content Sales, Programming and Content Operations teams in APAC, and also operational counterparts in US and EMEA regions
  • Communicate with internal and external clients throughout APAC regions directly to understand their media requirements, customization and delivery requirements to ensure their orders are fulfilled in a timely manner across all serving regions
  • Responsible for front line services and coordination, as well as providing a wide variety of complex administrative tasks related to media and metadata deliveries into and out of Disney operational services
  • Use technical expertise and knowledge of formats, post production and/or localization activities and different methods of delivery to choose the most cost effective, high quality means of servicing and supporting the customer
  • Handle inquiries and complaints regarding any operation or technical issues from both internal and external parties, and provide solutions by working with the appropriate departments
  • Establish maintain a good working relationship with external vendors

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in client servicing through TV Distribution, including new media clients and platforms
  • Experience in File based and High Definition technology
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • High level of computer literacy. Advanced level in Microsoft Excel is preferred
  • Experience in working with MAM systems, scheduling systems, and production application systems
  • Knowledge and experience in language dubbing or subtitling operation is advantageous
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and a team player
  • Able to prioritize effectively & adopt flexible approach to different tasks
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
