Intern, Production Management - 6 months internship

Job Summary:

We have an opening in our Original Content team for an intern in Production Management. This person will interact with several departments (Finance, Legal, Creative, Content Operations, Programming, Marketing, Publicity, etc.) in order to gain industry-specific skills and a broad understanding of scripted and nonscripted series production from the network perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist production executives on shows in various stages of Development, Prep, Production, and Post Production
  • Create, update, and distribute production documents
  • Maintain digital files on department server and online database
  • Track and maintain production trackers
  • Work on various research and development projects to improve workflow efficiencies
  • Attend and help set up internal meetings with our teams across the region
  • General office support (meeting notes, print/copy, basic tech support)
  • Track and Update Contact Lists
  • Cover other Executive tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications:

Internship Requirements:
  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma in Film/Video Production, Communications, Project Management, or other related fields
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July/August to December 2022
  • Resume to indicate expected graduation date

Requirements:
  • Ability to take initiative while providing support
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer skills as projects may require spreadsheet, database and presentation skills
  • An understanding of office procedures, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Primary interest in a career in the field of physical production or production management
  • General understanding of production, industry concepts and players, with an eagerness to learn
  • Some experience in either film, television, or OTT preferred
