In view of the growth of our region, we are now seeking a Senior Manager Retail Marketing & ecommerce to develop integrated marketing campaigns for SAMENA (SEA, India, Middle East & North Africa (MENA)) across our franchises. The objective of these campaigns is to increase awareness, drive sales and expand the presence of Disney products online and offline towards maximizing economic potential of the Disney Consumer Products business.
In addition to that, this role will be a business partner for the regional commercial team by supporting them in their pitches to partners.
We are looking for energetic and proactive self-starters with consumer-focused, B2B, or customer marketing experience at multi-national companies, retailers, e-commerce or agencies. You must possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment and be a strong fan of our brands and have excellent communication skills.
Development & execution of regional marketing campaigns for retail and e-commerce to grow the Disney Consumer Products business in SAMENA:
Define objectives based on a thorough understanding of countries & business needs
Generate creative ideas by working with internal & external parties, manage campaign development, guide local teams in the deployment and evaluate campaign
Brand & Franchise Management: Serve as the steward for all brands, manage the information flow with global teams and provide clear guidance on how to represent our stories and characters in the best way possible to protect the brand equity
New Business & Key Account Management: Create bespoke marketing ideas for regional new business pitches & key accounts, pitch concepts to partners or guide local teams in their pitches
Digital & Influencer Marketing:
Develop and execute social and digital campaigns, working with internal or external parties
Create regional plans for influencer marketing and manage execution via agencies or directly
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors, social and digital tools
Work closely with other Lines of Businesses (LOB) such as Studio, Integrated Marketing, and Disney+ to maximize synergy and implementation of marketing initiatives
Budget management and reporting
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
10 years of experience in a marketing role within retail, e-commerce, consumer products or an agency
Experience in developing, executing and measuring paid digital marketing campaigns
Strong project manager with outstanding relationship building skills
Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability in engaging effectively with business partners and diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills (including the creation of appealing pitch decks)
Familiarity of consumer and cultural landscape of our region
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple internal and external stakeholders
Highly self-motivated, positive and resilient with a strong passion for Marketing
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a definite plus
Must be fluent in English; knowledge of another language from SEA is a plus
