In view of Southeast Asia’s growth, we are now seeking an Executive, Disney Media Distribution to drive integrated marketing efforts across Southeast Asia with a focus on key linear and non-linear partners across multiple business platforms (TVOD, SVOD, EHV, Pay TV and Free To Air). Our businesses are genuinely diverse and dynamic. The range of work is impressive and challenging. Add to that the tremendous geographical coverage of this Region and you have a role which is truly varied. This role is focused on Southeast Asia markets, including Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.

We are looking for energetic and proactive, self-starters with digital-focused, marketing experience at multi-national companies, e-retailers and/or agencies. You must possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment and be a strong fan of our brands and have excellent communication skills.


  • Support the Marketing Manager to extend top notch & personalized front line pre & post-sale marketing support to all linear & non-linear clients in SEA. This ranges from managing client’s day-to day requests in order to help them better promote our titles across all media platforms (i.e. FTA, PTV, Digital), to formulating internal/external presentations for sales executives with the objective of getting clients’ acquisition & marketing teams excited about DMD content.
  • Build relationships with key marketing counterparts of licensees through tight communication via email, phone & in-person meetings.
  • Ensure client campaigns are on brand and adhered to the DMD marketing guidelines. Provide clients with marketing ideas & inputs to their campaigns.
  • Staying on top of all marketing assets including video, web & print assets for key DMD titles.
  • Manage the CRM and hospitality initiatives.
  • Support Manager in the creation & implementation of locally relevant branded media content & marketing strategies that drive franchise brand ratings & reach across all platforms (e.g. FTA, PTV, TVOD, EHV, SVOD).
  • Pro-actively identify partnership opportunities in other Disney business units & offer them strategically to clients.
  • Support Marketing Manager in providing creative briefs & working closely with marketing agencies to develop creative concepts for campaign. Also need to explore alternative use of ad space with trade press & negotiate optimum rates for ad bookings.
  • Develop sales pitch kits plan working closely with sales department.
  • Support the team in sourcing & development of all lines of premiums & client gifts.
  • Support the team in the conceptualization & management of all events including participation in SEA industry trade shows & client hospitality events.
  • Ensure budget is fully utilized with quarterly reviews with the Marketing Manager to ensure health of spend.
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders: sales, marketing & PR etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing role within the consumer products or retail industry.
  • Knowledge of the digital landscape in SEA
  • Experienced in developing and implementing digital campaigns
  • Must be fluent in English, knowledge in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Experience in marketing or account management and in developing solid partnerships with multi-divisional partners.
  • Knowledge in Digital Marketing and e-commerce is a plus.
  • Successful track record in creating and delivering measurable, high-impact marketing activations.
  • Creative mind with excellent communication skills, with a proven ability in engaging effectively with business partners and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, able to influence and persuade at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong team player; possessing team synergy skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong passion for Movies and TV Series.
