Job Summary:

This role is based in Singapore and responsible for Southeast Asia (SEA) markets, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand & Vietnam.

This role will be an integral part of the Insights team in Southeast Asia (SEA). The incumbent will spearhead the research needs for the business and aim to provide good understanding of key market trends & consumer behaviour, their attitudes & preferences and using these data & insights to collaborate with the lines of business in developing appropriate strategies. This role will also work closely with the SEA Corporate Strategy team by providing market data & insights required for business planning.


  • Develop and build the research system and process for data collection and analysis
  • Define new metrics and approaches to analysis for gaining a deeper understanding of our customers
  • Produce analysis and insights that helps understand the impact of consumers’ behavior on business effectiveness and strategic direction
  • Design and implement customized research projects for answering specific business issues from the various lines of business
  • Leverage & integrate secondary databases to provide holistic business solutions
  • Assign and oversee team members on insights & analytics projects
  • Prepare and share analytics with the relevant stakeholders
  • Develop recommended strategies based on insights
  • Track performance of business strategies

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics or mathematics
  • At least 12-15 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG or digital business
  • Strong understanding of media and content landscape
  • Strong knowledge of subscription services and its competitive landscape preferred
  • Prior quantitative experience in a market research agency a must
  • Rich experience in wide range of research methodologies & analytical frameworks
  • Experienced in presenting insights to stakeholders to drive decision making
  • People management experience a must
  • Familiarity with the SEA markets highly preferred
