Job Summary:

The e-commerce business has been one of the strongest growth drivers for Disney Consumer Products over the past couple of years. In view of our rapid growth, we are now seeking a Senior Manager, E-commerce to further expand Disney’s presence and commercial success across the region.

Reporting to the Director, E-commerce, this role will work within the regional team covering Southeast Asia, India, Middle East and North Africa and will work closely with in-market teams.


  • Strategy and Planning
    • Influence licensees, platform partners and agencies to develop and implement right growth strategies for Disney
    • Develop platform strategies for B2C, B2B and social commerce platforms and marketplaces
    • Lead E-commerce marketing, content and media strategies, creating and adapting toolkits for roll-out across the region
    • Work with regional partners and in-market teams to plan and execute portfolio and campaigns
  • Capability Development
    • Develop internal in-market e-commerce team members to develop e-commerce competency
    • Develop digital shelf management capabilities to track and drive performance of Disney licensed products on key marketplaces
    • Establish right agency eco-system for Disney and partners across the entire region
    • Conduct licensee training and develop best practice tool kits
    • Identify and operationalise practical and implementable anti-piracy solutions
  • Partner engagement
    • Manage relationship with 3rd party marketplaces
    • Participate in JBPs with top licensees across the region and actively steer the e-commerce agenda and growth roadmap
  • Data and analytics
    • Manage dashboards for performance tracking and improvement
    • Ensure marketing spend is optimized for growth and efficiency
    • Identify new trends, shopper insights and opportunities with internal and external data
  • Identify initiatives to drive synergy opportunities across the region and with other lines of business within The Walt Disney Company.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 8-10 years of e-commerce experience, majority of which either leading D2C channels, or developing and operating business for brands on marketplace platforms
  • Strong understanding of all or parts of SEA, India or MENA online retail landscape
  • Strong analytical skills and good business acumen
  • Excellent presentation and persuasion skills
  • Strong project management skills and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Proven experience working in branded consumer environments with an appreciation of online marketing and brand management
  • Highly collaborative and is comfortable with stakeholder management
