Job Summary:

A key executive in driving success of shopDisney APAC.

Lead the Operations team to manage effectively and productively in a high volume, reactive retail environment, dealing with multiple clients and a diverse product range.

This newly created role will be fully accountable for the logistics operations team, managing the performance and SLA of suppliers, 3PL and cross border partner to drive and optimise the business while improving the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead accountability for overall day to day functional management of the logistics and operations of shopDisney APAC
  • Oversee 3PL operations, including but not limited to receipt, put away, order picking & returns.
  • Responsibility on reporting and insights regarding inventory management, performance and business improvement.
  • Management relationship between of 3rd party warehouse provider, cross border and last mile carriers.
  • Accountability for operationalization of overall business strategy
  • Overall DC engagement management and on site resolutions
  • Maximize leverage on organization operations expertise, knowledge and assets across teams
  • Establish scalable procedures for the operations department to enable manageable growth.

Basic Qualifications:

Requirements
Education:
  • Relevant degree in applicable industry/logistics area.
Experience & Knowledge:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Couriers for e-commerce
  • Proven experience working in branded consumer environments with an appreciation of e-commerce business critical
  • Proven track record in managing and implementing end-to-end ecommerce operations processes.
  • Experience in setting up a DC, inventory management systems and logistics work flows
  • Proven experience in cross border e-commerce
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally and managing a team
  • Proven experience in working in dynamic, cross-cultural team

    • Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting at all levels internally and externally.
    • Partner with buying, planning & sourcing to understand and optimize inventory flow
    • Work closely with digital experience to provide recommendations related to checkout and returns processes
    • Collaborate with marketing to execute promotional campaigns
  • Drive commercial outcomes
    • Efficient end-to-end management of SG DC operations from shipment receipts to order management, picking, and Inventory management to order fulfillment and returns.
    • Optimise negotiations, contracts and performance of third party vendors including but not limited to DC, Final Mile providers, Consolidating Hubs
    • Accountable for reporting/tracking and analysis. Identify efficiency opportunities and partner with stakeholders to find solutions
  • Must be motivated, highly organized, flexible and results oriented. Have high sense of energy and service orientation to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
