Job Summary:

Job Purpose

Lead, create, execute, manage and maintain a world class Talent Acquisition organization for the Walt Disney South East Asia business.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
• Internal: Regional HR team, Global HR team, and all Lines of Business client groups.
• External: Candidates, Recruitment vendors, professional networking organizations and universities
• Work as a strategic partner to respective functions, stakeholders and Executives on hiring needs by plan, strategize and deploy relevant recruitment approach, to hire best in class and most suitable people to achieve long term and short term business strategy of the Walt Disney Company.
• Build strong talent pipeline through robust sourcing strategies and channel to engage both passive and active candidates, supported by workforce diversity initiatives, industry and competitor analysis, interactive marketing plans, and networking opportunities.
• Provide exceptional strategic leadership in the development of programs, processes and best practices that are best suited to meet business needs, and achieve hiring goals.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen and thorough understanding of The Walt Disney Company SEA and global, promote competitive brand advantage and employment value proposition of The Company that drives effective hiring.
• Oversee talent acquisition operations, process, policy, recruitment system, workflow in Disney SEA.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen and thorough understanding of The Walt Disney Company SEA and global, promote competitive brand advantage and employment value proposition of The Company that drives effective hiring.
• Deploy employer branding strategy in line with global EVP to develop messages with local relevance. Develop and roll out the annual Recruitment Marketing Calendar to enhance Disney Brand in external talent market.
• Oversee and manage internship and post-grad programs year-round for The Walt Disney Company SEA. Partner with leaders to identify opportunities for new internship programs and evolution of existing programs. Drive the creation and execution of campus strategies for new and existing clients. Provide research, best practices and recommendations to clients in a consultative manner.
• Have the ability to apply knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements and company policy in day-to-day decisions that not only ensure a positive candidate experience but also uphold our Disney service standards.
• Oversee all recruiting channels including search firms, job boards, universities; and be creative to develop any other new channels to meet hiring needs and efficiency.
• Hands on in recruitment to fill the requisitions based on the hiring needs. Solid hiring experience in senior executive level (Director and above) recruitment.
• Collaborate with LOB heads/hiring managers/HR Business Partners to understand, manage and exceed hiring expectations.
• Work closely with global COE team and regional HR team on any ad. hoc talent acquisition projects.​

Basic Qualifications:

Requirements

Education:
• Degree qualified in Human Resources or other related field.

Experience:
• 10+ years of increasingly responsible and dynamic talent acquisition strategic roles within SEA or APAC region.
• Strong leadership experienced leading a talent acquisition function in a progressive organization with strong presence in SEA or APAC to ensure business results and goals are met.
• Hands-on and proven success sourcing, selecting and retaining the best talent at all levels, and should have proven success hiring in senior executive level (Director and above).
• Must function well in and have proven experience working in a very fast paced and dynamic environments.
• Solid recruitment experience in digital and OTT is preferred.

Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of contemporary talent acquisition models and strategies as well as demonstrated success with implementation.
