In view of Southeast Asia’s growth, we are now looking for a Studio Marketing Manager to join the expansion team. Partnering closely with our Head of Studio Entertainment, you will be responsible for the overall marketing and promotional activities for all Disney, Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm studio releases in Singapore. As the Studio Marketing Manager, you are responsible for marketing strategy and maximizing marketing efforts through owned, earned and paid media to promote each film to its fullest. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop a robust marketing campaign which includes working with external partners and the Line of Businesses (LOBs) in the Singapore market.



Responsibilities

MARKETING, PLANNING & PROMOTION
  • Set overall marketing and promotional plan and strategies for each movie title depending on the movie genre and target market
  • Own local digital marketing strategy in collaboration with local agency and regional digital team.
  • Oversee local publicity plan including influencer strategy
  • Conceptualize and execute all third-party promotions.
  • Assists in conceptualization of promotions, and solicitation of media partner promotional tie-ups for all film releases.
  • Review and facilitate approval of country-based, regional and global promotions through approval system / process.
  • Work with local agencies on execution of promotional, media and digital events to support movie marketing strategy.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with all LOBs and event agency in the implementation of themed events for key franchise properties in relation to the movie
  • Set creative direction on each movie title, including briefs to agencies pertaining to the main key art, POSM, print ads, TV, online and mobile ads
  • Planning and Coordination with PR and sales to align and communicate all marketing and promotion activities
  • Work closely with local sales / distribution teams
  • Budget and manage premiums and any other marketing support items
  • Conceptualize, budget, manage and execute marketing materials (theme decks, standees, or digital / new technology marketing materials) both locally and with regional
  • Develop marketing activities within provided marketing budgets, negotiate cost and terms with vendors.
  • Assist in marketing partnership campaigns execution, liaising with partners and working with regional team on respective studio approvals
  • Coordination with regional team and identifying opportunities for local content / localization
  • Communicate effectively across Disney lines of businesses (LOBs).
  • Casual buyer role on SAP
  • Monitor vendor purchases and invoices thru the SAP system
  • Monitors all vendors and make sure those who produce Disney IP are approved by ILS
  • Keeps track of all purchases and reconciliation against budget
  • Develop, coordinates and maintain effective relations with exhibitors
  • Manage exhibitor promotions (reviewing, submitting, facilitate approvals, providing key materials and execution)
  • Work with exhibitors on marketing and planning of all campaigns
GENERAL
  • Preparation of reports as required
  • Coordinate all the approval processes
  • SAP – all related aspects
  • Ad-hoc projects as required

Basic Qualifications

Ideally we are looking for someone who is passion for film and the entertainment industry. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. You must have strong understanding of digital landscape and trends with strong communication in both written and verbal skills. You are required to have strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement/relationship skills. Someone who is creative ans systematic, ability to think outside of the box will be great. Below are the key requirements we are looking for:-
  • A university degree holder, preferably in business management or marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience. Entertainment marketing experience will be an advantage.
  • Budget management experience
  • Digital Marketing experience
  • Event management experience
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications
