Disney in the Nordics & Baltics can offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Manager to join our HR team, for an 11 months’ parental cover between October 2021- September 2022.
We can provide a fast paced, interesting, fun and developing HR context, working closely with our entertainment and media business across four Nordic offices.
This role provides senior HR business partnering support to client groups of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) Nordics and Baltics, supporting the business to deliver against objectives and strategy. It forms an integral part of the market HR leadership team driving and enabling the delivery of the Nordic HR people strategy.
Critical to the success of the position is managing a professional, effective and proactive relationship with the business and stakeholders by understanding their key business drivers and priorities and providing an effective interface with the Centres of Excellence in London to support the achievement of these.
The role would be based in our Copenhagen or Stockholm office.
Main areas of responsibility;
Contribute, drive and deliver the Nordic HR people strategy together with the HR team
Lead, motivate and contribute to a high performance HR team
In partnership with the respective client group proactively lead the development and delivery of the people agenda, ensuring it aligns with the TWDC HR and business strategy
Be an active member of your client groups leadership team, proactively driving the HR agenda and provide support on business initiatives
A key focus of the role is to have a strong understanding of how the business operates, the key business challenges, drivers, financials as well as staying current on industry trends, technology advances etc.
Pro-actively develop strong working relationships with senior key business and HR stakeholders, which enable a solution-orientated approach to delivering HR initiatives
Apply commercial thinking and an understanding of the business and HR to provide pragmatic and informed HR solutions and ideas which meet both the business needs and fit with the HR agenda
Pro-actively manage annual HR processes in close cooperation with the business and Centres of Excellence, for example:
Organisational Design, Change & Structure
In partnership with Finance, effectively manage our Nordic headcount and partner with the recruitment team to ensure recruitment is effectively managed within our market
Act as second in command to the Nordic HR Director, supporting and stepping in as and when needed
Significant Experience Required within the following;
Operating at senior HR Business Partner level, within progressive commercial organisations in an international/EMEA organisation. Easily navigates a matrix/cross-functional setup which is fast-paced
Supporting Executive level clients on a strategic and operational level
Change management including restructure, redundancy, TUPE, Compromise agreements, redeployment & recruitment
Operating within a shared service environment and strong skills within the full work flow related to HR (cooperation and understanding of Finance, Payroll, Facilities etc.)
Workday and/or SAP knowledge and experience preferred (proficiency in other HR information systems also considered)
Strong language skills in English (oral and written), and preferably at least one of the Nordic languages
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office
