Job Summary:

To support all consumer research activities covering both the Australian and NZ market inclusive of tracking studies and ad hoc projects. The focus on all insight work is to deliver excellent insight that actively informs strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and project support on both quantitative and qualitative research projects- including but not limited to liaising with agencies, logistical support of meetings, managing recruitment, attending group sessions for oversight, collating and preparing notes, participating in analysis, input to reporting, managing spend etc.
  • Assist with the collation and development of regular reporting, franchise quarterly updates and insight updates combing data across various sources - tracking, TV ratings and online data
  • Coordinate all workshop and brainstorm sessions providing the collation and dissemination of output
  • Provide administrative support to the insight team including maintaining research files, managing the insight portal (uploading documents, managing the folders etc.), organising meetings, managing invoice payments, support in managing contracts, formatting presentations.
  • Support the Manager with oversight of insights budget
  • Support the Manager with the integration of all data
  • Support the manager with checking reports for accuracy
  • Support and project manage all ad hoc projects as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a research agency
  • Degree qualified - ideally a degree in social sciences, arts, psychology or related degree with a grounding in consumer insight methodologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and under supervision
  • Experience in running and managing research projects end to end
  • Experience across a range of brands and categories
  • High degree of numeracy in order to work with data and check its accuracy
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills to ensure all priorities and multiple deadlines are met
  • Ability to analyse and report on data drawing out clear insights
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
  • Experience coordinating research projects
  • A strong team player who contributes to an environment that embraces innovation
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Genuine desire to work in consumer insights
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified - ideally a degree in social sciences, arts, psychology or related degree with a grounding in consumer insight methodologies.
