Job Summary:

shopDisney APAC is seeking an experience ecommerce Marketing & Merchandising Manager to be responsible for leading the development, innovation and performance of the ecommerce guest experience. They will partner with cross-functional teams across marketing, buying and technology to drive the shopDisney business, delivering an engaging and friction-free guest journey through marketing innovation and optimizations across digital tactics including (but not limited to) acquisition, navigation, content, and search. The ideal candidate will be problem solving, results oriented, analytical, and self-starting with a passion for ecommerce.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities - Marketing
  • Partner with the local and regional shopDisney team to plan, execute and own marketing campaigns and digital marketing initiatives to generate awareness, drive traffic and sales and engagement.
  • Manage day to day of digital activity to support programs, campaigns, and community management.
    • Assist in the creation/deployment of digital materials, making sure the online content reflects the tone, strategy, and messaging of shopDisney
    • Manage digital marketing calendars, social footprints, and campaign timelines.
    • Maintain quality & impact of social pages. Manage campaigns to ensure amplification in the digital space in meaningful and strategic ways
    • Manage and maintain setup and testing of all promotional activity for omni-channel promotional plan with Assistant Site Merchandiser.
    • Provide local consumer insights, digital trends and tactics to regional team
    • Create relevant marketing materials for in-market specific campaigns
    • Establish partnerships with 3rd-party partners including Telcos, digital platforms, banks and payment providers to drive meaning commercial outcomes
    • Build community of local Disney KOLs to amplify our marketing efforts


Key Responsibilities - Merchandising
  • Leverage marketing channel understanding around retention vs. acquisitional channel strategies to develop and deliver targeted on-site messages and content to guests
  • Plan and own the digital marketing workflow process, collaborating brilliantly with internal stakeholders/LOBs.
  • Manage and maintain the accuracy and performance of assigned shopDisney market & categories, i.e. correct categorization, attribution, recommendation optimization, product details, bundle creation etc
  • Ensure displayed products meet local PI standards and liaison with the customer service team from 3rd party operator.

Key Responsibilities – Collaboration
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting with all levels internally and externally.
  • Plan and own the digital work process, establishing brilliant working relationships with internal stakeholders/LOBs.
  • Identify operational and process flow opportunities and partner with stakeholders to find solutions
  • Partner with buying & planning to identify merchandise to feature to drive and business priorities to drive conversion, demand and margin.
  • Work closely with digital experience to provide recommendations related to site improvements including digital features, functionality and capabilities to enhance guest experience
  • Collaborate with wider marketing team to Identify, develop and utilize A/B testing and multi-variate testing to optimize content and on-site feature/functionality to enhance guest experience online.

Key Responsibilities – Drive Commercial Outcomes
  • End to end management of key categories with accountability for increasing performance and results
  • Use key guest behavior data including product views, conversion, bounce rate and engagement to inform content development and on-page optimizations
  • Manage effectiveness of digital budget. Prioritize activity to meet team objectives.
  • Accountable for reporting/tracking and analysis

Basic Qualifications:

  • Innovative, naturally curious, and constantly seeking to unlock performance
  • Ability to multi-task and pivot priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Highly adaptable and proactive: a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of functions of digital platforms (FB, TW, IG, Youtube, TikTok, etc) and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience using marketing platforms in email and push
  • Editorial Experience (Final Cut, Premiere, etc) preferred.
  • Proficient in PPT/Word/Excel
  • You like to identify projects with the greatest impact and have a track record of making a difference!
  • You have strong project management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, supervising objectives and test plans, and deriving learnings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving.
  • You possess a strong understanding of consumer mentality and consumer empathy
  • You take ownership, are an inventive problem-solver, and maintain a high level of accountability
  • You can collaborate well with others and thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment!
  • Omniture, Salesforce Commerce Cloud & Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience strongly recommended
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a similar role in an ecommerce environment
