Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Performance Marketing to join the Disney+ team in Israel.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our office in Tel Aviv reporting to the Country Manager and on a dotted line to the local Head of Media for Israel. This person will be responsible for
providing expertise and strategic direction in the areas of media strategy, media planning and media buying for Disney streaming services in both Israel & Greece, delivering best in class media plans to support local brand and acquisition marketing campaigns.


  • Planning the quarterly subs growth for Israel & Greece, including sign-up, subs targets, retention, based on data and performances analytics from both D+ service and previous marketing campaigns, to meet objectives and KPI as given by management
  • Planning the above objectives in line with the confirmed budget, to be maximized across all relevant platforms, focusing on digital media outlets and SM
  • Working closely with regional and global performances teams to implement strategies and tactics locally, to get best practice and to be the go-to person (for regional and global performances teams) in the Israeli market
  • Work closely with local head of media, brand marketing manager and programming manager to ensure one-voice strategy, to meet D+ subs objectives efficiently and within the approved budget and in line with the company priorities
  • Responsible for acquiring and growing subscribers organically; manage digital campaigns, from ideation to media planning to optimization and performance analysis
  • Identify source of growth, profitability and efficiencies in current or new areas through strategic thinking and creative analytics
  • Drive marketing programs which are highly targeted basis content affinity of relevant segmented audience cohorts
  • Daily check of campaigns and performance in Demand Side Platforms /Fulfilled by Merchant & Analytics & Data Management Platform & Integral Ad Science & Dashboard
  • Stand by for adjusting campaigns in DSPs / FBM
  • Provide local Benchmarks analysis on best performing ads and competitor activity
  • Drive digital marketing efficiencies and reach through continuous localized communication testing (a/b), innovation using different platforms and new products
  • Responsible for local adjustments and optimizations in creative (language at etc.)
  • Provide insight and input on local publishers, opportunities and tactics to target new audiences and optimize measurement metrics
  • Deliver most effective Cost of Acquisition (CPA) and expected Subscriber Volume
  • Manage agencies to executive a best in class subscriber acquisition activity
  • Work with Global Team on Paid Media, Programmatic Display and Search

Basic Qualifications:

  • Several years of relevant experience in Performance Marketing role
  • Hebrew language skills is essential
  • Experience in handling large scale campaign planning, optimization for both performance and brand impact
  • Strong knowledge of subscription services and its competitive landscape
  • Strong understanding of media and content landscape
  • Experienced working with creative teams to develop concepts and bring messaging to life
  • Local language essential and awareness of local trends / preferences
  • Proficient in English
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of MS Excel, Google analytics, tableau experience preferred
  • Exposure to working with key campaign management tools and platforms (Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.)
  • Understanding of market nuances and dynamics to deliver the global strategy while balancing local adaptions to drive local results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Significant professional experience managing paid acquisition channels
  • Experience working with key campaign management tools and platforms
  • Understanding of martech including DMPs and using Multi touch attribution models
  • Strong analytics skills with well proved experience
  • Have a background in data visualization and dashboard development
  • Advantage: working for a global company (corporate), with experience in internal comms, presentations and workflows
