Job Summary:

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:
Marketing Manager is a key role for The Walt Disney Company Israel Media Networks business, overusing Marketing activities for 4 linear channels (Disney Channel, Disney Junior, National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Wild) their respective VOD services and Digital accounts.
The Marketing Manager is a one-person team, in charge to implement and execute global and regional marketing strategies and to create local ones.
You will work closely with affiliates to establish and execute on-going marketing activities to support the Media business needs as well as the greater TWDC (to support Consumer Product, Games and Piblishing and wider franchise priorities). You will be in charge of the Always-On strategy and execution on Digital accounts (FB, Instagram) and the PR & Comms for Media Networks, working closely with external PR agency to ensure media coverage met objectives and targets. Also, the Marketing Manager will be in charge for events and off-air activities, to be “best in class” executed.
  • In charge to execute with an excellent results global and regional Media marketing strategies
  • In charge to develop new and innovative strategies with local Israeli relevancy
  • Managing agencies and leading them to create and execute Media marketing campaigns on Digital, to meet objectives as given
  • Working closely with affiliates marketing teams to create and execute activities to drive viewing and brand awareness to all linear channels and their respective services
  • Detailed campaign budget management, tracking purchase orders and managing vendors.
  • Be the go-to PR and comms manager for global, regional and local stakeholders, working closely and managing the PR agency, to ensure all comms are in line with company guidelines and priorities
  • Understand the competitive environment from both a platform and content perspective (TV, SVOD & Theatrical), applying insights to gain competitive advantage
  • Meeting the above objectives and targets in line with agreed yearly budget
  • Managing the yearly budget as agreed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven Marketing experience at a supervisor Marketing level or higher
  • Experience working within the Media industry
  • Ability to formulate, manage high profile, end to end on/off air marketing campaigns
  • Previous budget management experience
  • Advantage: Previous agency management experience
  • Team player
