The Woodlands Network Center - Disney-DTCI in The Woodlands, TX is searching for a Media Services Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising the daily activities of employees in the Media Services department. The department receives and manages all content for air, maintains proper server capacities and current material inventories through regular purging, and ensures client requests for dubs are fulfilled timely and accurately. The incumbent will be involved in recruiting, hiring, counseling, training and development of employees. Also, the position will require knowledge of all functions within the department and the ability to perform front line duties as needed. The ability is needed to work in a 24/7 environment and to work different shifts and days if required.


  • Planning and scheduling network coverage
  • Serving as subject matter expert in all duties assigned to personnel
  • Receiving directives from senior management and scheduling tasks to assigned personnel
  • Troubleshooting, reporting and resolving operational issues
  • Ensuring tasks performed by staff are completed efficiently and timely
  • Working with Managers to plan and implement projects to gain efficiencies
  • Ensuring high level of accuracy and internal/external customer satisfaction
  • Partnering with Manager to define, enforce, communicate and support operational policies and procedures
  • Communicating and documenting expectations to direct reports
  • Coaching, motivating and training assigned employees
  • Participating in interviewing and hiring of administrators
  • Overseeing assimilation of new personnel and other staffing changes on the team
  • Recommending rewards as well as disciplinary action when appropriate
  • Writing and delivering performance reviews and developmental plans for team as well as counseling and feedback
  • Performing administrative tasks including approving employee’s working time, vacation time, and preparing weekly status reports
  • Monitoring/auditing attendance, on-time arrival and performance of direct reports


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field, highly preferred
  • Microsoft Office Applications including:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with writing reports and documenting
  • Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional follow-through skills
  • Proven track record with successfully working and leading in a team environment
  • 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role a plus
