Job Summary:

This position serves as an analyst performing a wide range of professional assignments in an Enterprise Technology environment. Serving as a technical expert, provides problem diagnosis, implementation, administration, support and maintenance of servers, business applications and network products hosted in Japan.

Analyst provides on-site or remote access diagnosis and resolution of server and business application problems.

The position also serves to coordinate with Infrastructure, Telecom and Core IT Partner teams that work on processes, procedures and technical specifications; plans, designs and oversees analytical and technical assignments and the installation of servers, business applications and network components.
  • Manage and maintain network and servers for all Disney stores across Japan (Disney Store Infrastructure)
  • Manage and maintain the network for Disney+ Call Center (Okinawa) in Japan
  • Manage local supplier relationships to ensure quality of IT Service delivery
  • Manage Server / Network devices in Server room
  • Identify and manage IT/operational problems and own resolution of these problems
  • Work collaboratively and strengthen relationships with Domestic and International functional and technology teams to ensure service consistency and efficient use of resources
  • Work with Infrastructure Project Manager to maintain physical network in office area
  • Ensure local Enterprise Tech InfoSec requirements are adhered to, implemented and managed appropriately (in line with GIS and Ent Tech management requirements), escalating any risk to these requirements as appropriate and in a timely fashion
  • Ensure IT incident response posture meets global security and regulatory requirements (i.e. engagement of global DTOC/InfoSec FiRE)
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practice and emerging technologies and how they may benefit the company
  • Support training and change management activities, work with project managers/teams and end-users to ensure training and change management is effective
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with key stakeholders
Monitor each phase of all projects (site survey, installation, pending and rescheduled release, etc.) and work with responsible groups to maintain established targets

Basic Qualifications:

  • Foundation knowledge of ITIL and service desk procedures
  • Technical knowledge to support operating systems such as Windows, MacOS and Linux
  • Technical knowledge of Virtualization Technology and Server OS
  • Technical knowledge of IP network architecture and equipment
  • Ability to handle client escalations and manage both projects and operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting ability, problem-solving and analytical skills, and a strong desire to succeed
  • Great customer service mentality with excellent people skills
