The Director of Campaign Operations will be responsible for working with the Audience, Sales, and Digital teams to inform on strategy for sponsored campaigns and ensure that sponsored campaigns are executed flawlessly for organic and paid promotion. As part of this role, the Director will be tasked with iterating on concepts for branded content campaigns, problem-solving to align with client and brand goals, and successfully delivering on campaigns.

The Director will also be responsible for working with various teams to build and execute social and digital campaigns that align with the brand’s consumer products and experiences. This person should have a clear understanding of the media landscape, social media platforms, and be able to use analytics to inform on content and digital strategies.

This role will have direct reports. This position will have general supervision.


  • Iterate and execute on sponsorship campaigns across digital and social platforms, including ideating creative for branded content campaigns and building strategies for paid media campaigns.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Sales, Editorial, Marketing) to understand and deliver on campaign goals.
  • Analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities to optimize or iterate on campaigns to exceed KPIs/client goals, provide final reports. 
  • Support marketing and e-commerce efforts by creating cross-platform campaigns that engage audiences across platforms and drive conversions.


  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Understands budgeting; proficiency with social media advertising.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing social platforms, executing on sponsorship campaigns.
  • Experience developing and executing on paid media campaigns (including set up, buying, optimization).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work across departments with marketing, sales, editorial.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Facebook’s ad auction, advertising best practices.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
