This role will be part of a critical team leading the charge in aggressively growing our customer subscriptions and profitability. You will contribute to the value proposition and roadmap for new offers and products for our subscribers, helping to execute campaigns and Go to Market (GTM) plans.

Positioning and Product Marketing

  • Assist in the development of messaging and positioning guides for our subscription-based products

Campaign Development: 

  • Lead the execution and articulation of subscription value propositions and subscription creative campaigns with the goal of increased subscriber acquisition as well as existing subscriber retention
  • Oversee campaign creation, development and deployment, partnering with design, copywriting and acquisition to launch effective cross channel campaigns
  • Lead creative agency relationship and coordinate across various cross-fucntional stakeholders

New Benefits Development: 

  • With Partnerships Manager, collaborate with external and internal partners across National Geographic business lines and Disney-publishing, editorial, travel, live events, consumer products, TV/streaming to define opportunities to offer subscribers additional value.
  • Create an annual roadmap of new subscriber benefits.

Go-to-Market

  • Develop GTM plans for new offers, bundles, and products we develop

Insights and Analytics

  • Demonstrate strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints and consumer journey stage.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience developing marketing programs and campaigns for B2C products and services (subscription products strongly preferred). 
  • Demonstrated experience creating and running product marketing and digital marketing campaigns across channels such as email, web, app, and social as well as paid campaigns
  • Strong design sense and experience crafting effective consumer messages; highly conversant in data to bring campaigns to the right audiences and optimize performance
  • Able to lead through persuasion and use data/research
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with Product Management teams, creative teams and agencies, partnership teams, acquisition, and retention marketing teams
