Job Summary:

(*Remote, but must be based in Seattle area)

As a Sales Manager on Disney's Third-Party Retail team, you will work with both internal and external partners across an extensive portfolio to maximize the growth and sales at Amazon in both the US & Canada. You will be an active team member and will report to the Director, Sales – eCommerce & Club.

You Will:

  • Develop and implement retail account strategies that drive double-digit growth at Amazon
  • Collaborate on development of annual franchise plans that prioritize top volume drivers
  • Form business relationships with Disney licensees and develop plans that help achieve their sales goals
  • Apply Amazon knowledge to provide Disney licensees with specific feedback on how to maximize their business on Amazon
  • In conjunction with Disney licensees, work with Amazon Vendor Managers to identify product ranges and new item opportunities
  • Take an active role in product planning and development to align with account strategies that help achieve financial goals
  • Maximize Disney exposure within Amazon corporate programs
  • Develop and execute franchise evergreen programs that provide 365 support
  • Collaborate with local Disney team members to maximize joint and/or cross-category placement opportunities across licensed products, Home Entertainment, Publishing & Games
  • Manage Disney brand store lists and, in partnership with Marketing team, manage development, launch and refreshes
  • Participate in the allocation and expenditure of advertising and promotional franchise budgets
  • Provide leadership with recommendations on how to improve retail sales, gain/grow whitespace categories and improve overall business
  • Help with the development and presentation of semi-annual Joint Business Plans

You Have:

  • 3+ years eCommerce experience (Amazon preferred)
  • Softlines experience is an asset for this role
  • Strong understanding of retail sales and retail marketing strategies, brand and property positioning
  • Experience managing promotional budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship building skills
  • Strong leadership skills, flexible/adaptable and able to collaborate, influence and persuade at all levels of an organization
  • Capable of working independently and managing a variety of initiatives/issues simultaneously, within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of business and financial concepts
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Keynote, Powerpoint, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Professional written & verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the Retail Sales team appropriately in front of key stakeholders and partners
  • Bachelor's Degree required
