JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Approves and executes branded content campaigns across five accounts as well as develops sponsored packages for clients.

  • Reviews feed posts across five accounts and works with photographers across the core accounts.

  • Assists the Instagram team in tentpole initiatives and special projects.

  • Explores new ways to expand content on the accounts by researching new contributors, reviewing story pitches, and developing new activations like hashtag challenges, photo walks, and more.

  • Ideates and develops concepts for the new @NatGeo TikTok account.

  • Sources and approves Instagram images used in daily newsletters in Nat Geo Magazine.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a social, branded, and editorial background.

  • Experience in social media, specifically Instagram and TikTok.

  • Experience working on sponsored or branded campaigns with advertising clients.

  • A strong editorial background, and advanced visual eye.

  • Ability to ideate for both current and future oriented projects.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; time-management is essential.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of Asana, API Schedulers, and Adobe Analytics is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
