JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Update and maintain model with monthly actuals: ensure financial accuracy; correct GL coding; and tie-out analysis to summary sheets
  • Lead consolidation of forecast/plan for Channels teams: point of contact for cost rationalization, assist with coding and/or systems issues, and track cause of change for executive reporting
  • Provide monthly GL detail to Budget managers and then meet for forecasting
  • Assist Controllership during month-end close cycles, providing coding guidance
  • Proactively improve existing financial planning models and processes
  • Forensic accounting to understand cost detail to inform executives on business drivers
  • Support ad hoc requests
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Expert Excel skills; extensive experience building operating models and analyzing large data sets
  • Partner with Controllership to ensure accurate reporting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in pro forma development, quantitative analysis, and financial modeling
  • Create, maintain, and update financial models and P&Ls (revenue, costs, and managed operating income), including support for monthly forecasts, 5-year strategic plan and annual operating plan
  • Report, monitor and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, creative thinker with demonstrated initiative, analytic skills and ability to exercise independent judgment, demonstrate resourcefulness
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, accounting or related fields experience is preferred. Candidates with additional experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP and/or Cognos is a plus
  • Experience in P&L Management (Revenue, CGS, OI, SGA, Tax, etc.)
  • Required Education

  • Bachelor’s required - Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent); a quantitative discipline is preferred
