Job Summary:

Job responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Technicians, term labors and contractors to provide round the clock service to maintain attraction equipment up to the safety, reliability and show quality targets. The maintenance activities include downtime emergency recovery, 24/7 preventive & corrective maintenance, attraction modifications and refurbishment works.
  • Schedule the manpower to cope with daily workloads and supervise workshop with adequate spare parts and proper tools.
  • Conduct regular audit to ensure proper housekeeping in the workshop which meet with the Disney standards.
  • Provide direction to the team for equipment failure root cause analysis and initiates technical (design, procedure) modifications on reliability and safety enhancement;
  • Propose new maintenance methodology for performance improvement, share insight to sustaining engineering and higher management on equipment performance issues, conduct trainings and qualify the AES technicians on attraction specific training and perform safety audits.
  • Regulate the assigned portion of maintenance budget and be sensitive in the maintenance cost, inventory levels and life-cycle cost of the responsible equipment.
  • Provide clear leadership directions to the cast members, including daily workload distribution, and maintain two-way dialogues with both higher management and direct reports on work and results.
  • Coordinate and assist the implementation of the attractions related projects including material planning, review of method statement, development and monitoring of the project program, arrangement of workforce and support the subject-matter-expert to conduct buy-off for project completion
  • Support the Service Manager / Duty Manager to handle the emergency recovery of the Attractions incident

Job requirements:

  • Higher diploma or above in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • At least 4 years’ relevant experience in ride & show equipment.
  • Good knowledge in general engineering practices and practical experience in multi-engineering disciplines as well as in-depth knowledge in either one or more disciplines of electrical, mechanical, control & automation, AV & lighting and theatrical engineering.
  • Have maintenance or project management experience in safety/service critical system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with positive attitude on problem solving and customer service.
  • Good computer literacy and MS Office experience.
