About the Role & Team
As a Sales Representative, you are responsible for the sales and product knowledge of Disneyland Paris for travel agencies as well as trade- and affiliation partners in Belgium & Luxembourg. You are part of the Sales team and report to the Sales Manager.
This role is a unique combination of fieldwork and office-based responsibilities. Using your analytical skills, you will play a key role in driving (online) sales growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customer happiness. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing existing B2B key accounts following a predefined segmentation approach.
What You Will Do
Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and Marketing teams to ensure the effective implementation of our annual plans.
Analyze sales data for assigned client accounts
Coordinate with the internal sales team and other departments to ensure the smooth execution of the sales strategies.
Provide regular feedback, reports, and updates on market conditions, client needs, and sales performance.
Actively visit key clients to present products and services and build positive relationships.
Generate ideas and find opportunities to develop and improve online B2B sales and other revenue streams. Proactively looks for new opportunities.
Draft communication materials and product updates for key partners.
Ensure that promotional mechanics and incentives for Key Partners are optimized and functioning
Ensure that POS for the trade and web content with affiliate partners are efficiently dispatched and in line with our brand guidelines.
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and other industry-related happenings.
Escort and lead familiarization trips for partners
Provide in-agency training sessions to promote key sales messages, special offers, the Disney Stars online training program, Disney Travel Agents’ website, and online booking tools.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Background in sales / business development / account management, preferably with knowledge of the travel industry
Confident in working with trade and affiliation partners
Full proficiency in French and Dutch essential, as well as business-level English skills
Being a good influencer and credible communicator who can make a difference for Disneyland Paris
Confident with a ‘can do’ attitude
Strong organizational skills
Must illustrate and have strong empathy to understand the customer needs
Analyzes problems effectively and takes action to resolve
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional role requirements
Must have a valid driving licence
This position requires occasional travel, typically a few times per year, to attend meetings, events and famtrips.
