How will you contribute to our magical experience?

 

The Program Manager  Enterprise Technology (Latam) will be responsible for managing enterprise-level programs and/or multiple projects within the Disney Enterprise Technology portfolio. This individual will work closely with various project owners to define the project team and assign responsibilities. The Program Manager will also be responsible for developing a consolidated view of the program, and for program deliverables including calendars, cross-project dependencies, risk analysis, stakeholder coordination and regular communication of status.

 

Primary responsibilities include guiding process development at a Program team level, and managing high-risk, high-impact, strategic projects across a multi-disciplinary, multi-function group of technologists and business professionals. This requires experience communicating across audiences, effectively defining, and utilizing escalation paths, and updating executive stakeholders.

 

The Program Manager works in a dynamic, collaborative environment and reports to the Enterprise Technology Director, End User Services.

 

The Program Manager, Enterprise Technology (Latam) will be responsible for:

  • Accountable for driving execution and delivery of moderately complex programs or projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with vision, objectives, scope, timelines, business value and resource requirements.
  • Builds strong stakeholder partnerships while developing master schedules, communication plans, governance frameworks, milestones and deliverable tracking across multiple workstreams.
  • Leads cross-functional and international teams, providing oversight to ensure delivery of objectives, proactively identifying and resolving risks, issues and dependencies while maintaining program health and executive-level reporting (KPIs, status, dashboards and escalations).
  • Applies knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies, facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing documentation and repositories, and creating data visualizations and performance metrics.
  • Facilitates meetings and workshops driving accountability and commitments, identifies gaps in ownership, and fosters a culture of self-organization, continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

Financial Management.

  • Responsible for managing budgets for complex programs ($500K–$20M), including financial analysis, budget tracking, expenditure monitoring, and program forecasting (resources and expenses).

Communication and Organizational Change Management.

  • Leads with practicality through competing priorities and diverse stakeholders, operating as an independent program leader with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Facilitates program and project meetings, communicates timely updates and action items, and drives project tasks and cross-functional dependencies to successful completion.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills when partnering with technology leaders, managers, directors and service owners, escalating risks and seeking guidance when appropriate.
  • Applies Organizational Change Management principles by driving engagement, adoption and sustainment, while managing the impact of change and securing employee commitment across the organization.

Technical Depth.

  • Demonstrated understanding of technical project delivery using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Clarity, Smartsheet, MS Project, Confluence, Apptio, ServiceNow and PPM.
  • Experience with modern program management, collaboration and productivity tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Slack and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong technical services knowledge across one or more Enterprise Technology domains, including workplace technology, infrastructure, networking, cloud migration, application delivery, collaboration platforms, authentication, continuous improvement and Six Sigma.
  • Ability to draft technical requirements and support implementations related to data and metrics, continuous improvement and connected experiences.

Vendor Management and International Team Partnership

  • Oversee third-party vendors and partner with international teams to ensure timely delivery of program objectives, demonstrating flexibility to collaborate across global time zones as needed.
  • Evaluate and align vendor schedules and cross-project dependencies, driving escalations to resolve risks and blockers that may impact program delivery.

Continuous Improvement.

  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and tracking the effectiveness of implemented improvements to drive ongoing results.
  • Provide training and mentorship on continuous improvement methodologies while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and proactive process improvement.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • BA/BS in Business, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of program management experience in a technology environment.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Experience leading Agile teams applying Scrum principles and multidisciplinary efforts in large-scale matrix organizations.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience, with knowledge of data analysis, trend identification and root cause analysis.
  • PMI, Scrum or similar certifications preferred; Six Sigma certification a plus.
  • Strong inclusive leadership, communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and mentor teams while driving change and effective execution across organizations.
