The Enterprise Technology FinOps team provides unique insights that help inform the Company’s technology strategy. We partner with engineering teams to ensure optimal system architectures, technology vendors to build data pipelines that enable the extraction of key insights, and our finance team to build reporting that serves as a key input to executive decision-making and strategy. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated data solutions that ingest, transform and generate insights in the form of curated data.

  • Support and maintain the data and infrastructure that powers a shared customer data platform

  • Analyze and model data to design data solutions that provide business insights.

  • Recognizing patterns and opportunities to consolidate implementations and/or create standards

  • Have a growth mindset and a desire to learn

  • Be proactive and have initiative

  • Provide clear and concise communication to technical and non-technical audiences

Must Haves

  • A minimum of 3 years of Data Engineering experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of cloud experience (AWS required, Azure and GCP preferred)

  • Data Engineering, ETL development and data warehousing experience

  • SQL and Python proficiency

  • Experience building data pipelines in Databricks

  • Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, Databricks AI/BI)

  • Data Analysis and Modeling

Nice to Haves

  • Azure and GCP experience

  • PySpark experience

  • Experience building and interacting with MCP servers for data analysis

  • Experience applying AI to data engineering techniques

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
  • A plus if you have a Masters Degree

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $104,600 to $140,200 per year and in Seattle, WA is $109,500 to $146,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
