The Production Technology team builds solutions supporting production, production finance and business affairs across multiple studios and distribution platforms. We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for some of our key applications.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the product roadmap for multiple applications
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows through technology
- Align priorities with business goals and stakeholder needs
- Define and own metrics to measure adoption, efficiency gains, and business impact post-launch
- Conduct discovery to surface user and business pain points
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable product specs
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives and stakeholders
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate product risks and issues
- Collaborate closely with developers in the role of subject matter expert
- Lead change management efforts to ensure business preparedness and user adoption
- Triage user reported issues and prioritize fixes within the backlog
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Strong background in business relationship management
- Strong analytical and data skills
- Ability to understand complex systems and end-to-end business processes
- Ability to produce high-quality product specifications and documentation
- Experience delivering custom software projects from discovery through launch
- Experience partnering with the business on user acceptance testing
- Experience delivering financial systems
- Experience managing a product backlog
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at a major studio in television production
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (SAP)
- Experience with data and analytics platforms (Snowflake, Cortex AI)
- Experience with AI productivity tools (Claude Cowork, Cursor, Copilot)
- Experience with Airtable
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA $155,700.00-$208,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
