Team Description:

As a Manager, Product Owner and Delivery Lead within Disney’s Enterprise Technology division, you will be instrumental in leading the Finance transformation journey. This role requires a strategic and technically adept leader who can drive the delivery of enterprise FinTech solutions using Agile methodologies. You will collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to ensure Disney remains a global leader in innovation and storytelling.

You will lead high-performing teams, shape product strategy, and deliver impactful solutions that empower Disney’s storytellers to create unforgettable experiences for millions around the world. Leads cross-functional teams in the delivery of enterprise software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and architectural standards. Partners with engineering, architecture, and vendor teams to define solution approaches, prioritize features, and oversee delivery. Advocates for continuous improvement in product development processes and ensures technical solutions support long-term scalability, security, and performance. Provides strategic guidance on platform evolution and engages with development teams to resolve design challenges and translate business needs into actionable specifications.

Responsibilities of Role:

  • Lead and mentor a professional team in the delivery of innovative FinTech solutions.

  • Drive strategic planning and execution of new product launches and enterprise software initiatives.

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, HR, and Technology to align product strategy with enterprise goals.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform continuous improvement.

  • Develop and implement departmental plans aligned with functional goals and resource availability.

  • Ensure successful Agile delivery of projects, maintaining a focus on quality, velocity, and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the development of cutting-edge financial technologies.

  • Champion change management initiatives to drive adoption of new tools and processes.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative work environment that encourages adaptability and growth.

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, ensuring alignment with Disney’s strategic vision and People Leader Expectations (PLEs).

What You’ll Do:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management or enterprise software delivery, including 2+ years leading cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).

  • Demonstrated success in launching new products and managing product lifecycles.

  • Strategic planning, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong technical acumen in enterprise platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, Jira).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience managing OKRs and driving data-informed decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in FinTech product management and enterprise software delivery

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.

  • Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Agilist) or product management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM).

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $141,900.00 - $190,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
