Team Description:

The Technology Process and Performance organization partners across all organizations to drive process efficiencies and effectiveness by measuring the organization's performance and driving excellence. As part of the TP&P team, the Vendor Management Office (VMO) is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of vendor-related processes across our organization. As part of this mission, the VMO aims to leverage data-driven insights to optimize vendor management, streamline operations, and support informed decision-making. The Data Product Analyst will play a critical role in this vision by supporting the development and maintenance of data products, ensuring accurate and timely data integration, and helping to deliver valuable insights to key stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

The Senior Vendor Operations Specialist manages the end-to-end workflow for technology vendor engagements — from initial demand intake to contracting readiness, working closely with Disney Legal, Sourcing, Privacy, Security and Delivery Stakeholders, to ensures all vendor requests move through the lifecycle accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with TWDC Sourcing, Legal, Privacy, Security and Vendor Management standards.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, process minded, and comfortable coordinating across sourcing, legal/privacy, security, finance, architecture, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the end-to-end vendor demand requests, ensuring the requests align to approved vendor request process and follows TWDC policies.

  • Align vendor services scope and pricing to ensure alignment to technology strategy, including validation of business terms and financial terms are accurately reflected in contractual agreement.

  • Manage transition from contract to delivery operations, working with business stakeholders on onboarding process, including but not limited to transition to delivery teams, financial operations setup, initiation and management of security, privacy and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure contracts repository is accurate and up to date.

  • Track and manage renewals and termination, working with Legal and where applicable, Sourcing.

  • Support entitlement and consumption reporting and risk management.

This is a project hire opportunity with an expected assignment length of 12 months.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or operations. 

  • Experience supporting vendor operations, procurement, technology operations, PMO, or similar functions.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and experience in evaluating business and commercial terms.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high‑volume requests, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely follow‑through.

  • Proficiency with workflow and reporting tools (e.g., Airtable, Smartsheet, Power BI, or comparable systems).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain processes and requirements to stakeholders.

  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure audit‑ready data completeness.

  • Highly effective at collaboration and interaction with technology teams, corporate business units, segments, finance, and sourcing, including senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to employ critical thinking to manage issues to optimize delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Technology Vendor Management, Sourcing, or Procurement Operations.

  • Understanding of vendor due diligence processes (security assessments, DPAs, insurance/COI requirements).

  • Familiarity with Technology processes, including architecture review, service routing, srisk review, and financial transparency workflows.

  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology Management, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $104,300.00 to $143,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
