This is an Internal Assignment/Project Hire role.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted partner to HR leaders and analytics partners to identify unique Studio workforce data needs
- Translate needs into data fields and automated workflows that are meaningful to business while also meeting reliable, secure and high-quality standards
- Develop innovative, high-impact solutions like customized apps and agents that enable more holistic storytelling on the employee experience
- Document technical solutions, share best practices, and provide training to foster adoption and scale innovation across the organization
- Champion data governance, privacy, and security as you deliver solutions that support Disney’s commitment to trust and excellence
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies, bringing forward new ideas to improve HR services through collaboration with partners and analytics teams across the business
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, solutions engineering, data management, or related field
- Expertise in SQL, Snowflake (or other cloud data warehouses), and scripting languages such as Python
- Experience developing user apps, agents, automation tools and other innovative dashboards or reporting tools
- Ability to take high-level partner feedback and implement into detailed data logic or process improvements
- Ability to manage projects, work autonomously and make independent decisions to meet deliverables with agility to adapt to fluid project timelines and business needs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to effectively handle and maintain confidential information
- Passion for continuous improvement with a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay relevant to business changes and industry trends
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment, proactively seeking opportunities to connect people and information
- Experience with HR data, systems, processes and survey data
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics/Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data or related field or 5+ years equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $115,300 to $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
