Team Description:
This role is located within the Enterprise Products Organization under the Financial Value Chain business solutions area. Finance Value Chains will be delivering Priority Business Solutions aligned with the enterprise architecture for the Finance, Tax and Treasury Value Chains. We lead with a Business Architecture framework and own the core financial systems and related functions domain technology roadmap.
The Sr Business System Analyst – is a role within Enterprise technology, responsible for supporting the business architecture and delivery of Finance platforms and services ensuring technology solutions are delivered end-to-end in line with architectural standards, delivering on business capability and collaboration with support operations. The span of the role will encompass business requirements, functional design, business modeling, testing and delivery.
**This is an estimated 9-month Project Hire position, with no guarantee of permanent placement.**
What You’ll Do:
Support translation of business needs to the product solution in support of project delivery and success
Partner with teams to understand and document business requirements
Participate in functional and technical design sessions
Partner with business and technology teams to build business models
Participate in creating documentation (ex. requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional design documents, process flows, etc.)
Participate in agile ceremonies (ex. scrum, sprint planning, demos, etc.)
Partner with technical implementation team(s) to provide documentation or information needed, confirm what is built aligns to the requirements
Support traceability of business requirements through technical specs and test cases
Work with the business to confirm test scenarios, validate design, test data & results
Support business ownership of process flows
Execute testing including developing, reviewing or executing test scripts, test results, defect triage
Validating product to acceptance criteria
Provide inputs into the Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions (RAID) log pertaining to business architecture; proactively identify issues and analyze options to resolve; work with the project management team
Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business partners, solution architects, and delivery managers
Builds strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, across the enterprise

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 5 years of overall Enterprise Resource Planning experience with 3 years of experience supporting finance systems and projects
Proven track record of participating in software projects in finance value chains on a large scale
Experience with finance business processes & software
Experience with Business Architecture practice and methodologies
Experience participating in matrixed project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, and vendor partners
Experience with agile software development and full SDLC
Prior experience of working in a Media environment is advantageous
Required Education:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is 97,500 - $125,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
