As an Analytics and Insights Manager for Disney Cruise Line, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making across a global organization. You will partner with business leaders to deliver impactful reporting solutions, uncover trends, and optimize performance through innovative analytics. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging business intelligence to enhance the guest and operational experience.

The Analytics and Insights Manager will report to the Manager, Business Systems Support and sits in Celebration, FL.

* This is an on-site role based in Celebration, FL and relocation will not be available for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute analytics strategies that support organizational goals, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Lead and mentor data analysts, providing guidance to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable insights.

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and translate findings into meaningful business recommendations.

  • Create, maintain, and enhance operational analytics and reporting tools using Business Objects, Tableau, and MicroStrategy.

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure business-critical systems and reporting remain fully functional, minimizing disruption to operations and revenue. This includes prioritizing, testing, and implementing system enhancements and resolving defects.

  • Manage reporting requests end-to-end, including development, testing, validation, and deployment.

  • Lead special projects and provide operational and administrative support for a global systems support function as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.

  • Advanced experience developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using SQL, Business Objects (including universe design), MicroStrategy, and Tableau.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL database architecture, data warehousing concepts, and large-scale data marts, including data mining and analysis.

  • Experience supporting the development, testing, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of operational and financial reporting solutions.

  • Proficiency in Windows-based environments and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Business and technical knowledge of reservation systems, property management systems, contact center operations, and related travel industry applications (if required for the role).

  • Understanding of system architecture, dependencies, and business rule management.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and quickly learn new systems and applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management experience, including leading cross-functional analytics initiatives and mentoring analysts.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership through executive-level presentations and data-driven storytelling.

  • Experience supporting global or multi-regional operations.

  • Industry experience in cruise, hospitality, travel, or contact center environments.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, MBA, or related field.
