If so, the Senior Business & Information Analyst role might be the right fit for you. In this position, you will join our team of portfolio and project managers to help identify business needs, research industry trends, and gather service requirements. You will partner with technology and business groups throughout Disney Signature Experiences (DSE) to support business case justification and translate business requirements into technical specifications for the design and development of solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to the refinement of the DSE portfolio plan through support of major financial actions such as Annual Capital Planning, Annual Operating Planning, Long-Range Planning, and other requests.
Responsibilities:
Support pre-project business problem elicitation, feasibility, and case definition to identify potential solutions.
Assist in planning and coordinating the funding process and strategy for new projects.
Partner with functional teams during annual and long-term planning processes by meeting with technology teams, consolidating annual and long-term financial plans, and contributing to executive facing summary content
Collaborate with business, project management, and technology partners to understand opportunities, project scope, goals, key performance indicators, and deliverables.
Maintain awareness of all in-flight technology projects and assist in preparing materials for executive and leadership updates.
Capture and document business requirements, enabling their translation into functional designs for development, testing, and implementation of solutions.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast submission activities and reports.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
Prepare clear and visually effective materials for leadership forums and status updates.
Qualifications:
5+ years of related work experience in business analysis or related discipline.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience applying business analysis techniques such as information gathering, requirements documentation, process modeling, and process mapping.
Strong understanding of the technical project lifecycle and delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools like Clarity, JIRA, and Confluence.
Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and understanding of relational data concepts.
