At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology and digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney!
This role sits in the Retail, Restaurant, and Supply Chain Technology organization within Disney Experiences Technology and will focus largely on Disney’s Mobile Dine ecosystem, with primary responsibility for the Table Management System, Table Service Walkup List, and Mobile Dine Reservation Check‑In experiences. It works closely with cross-functional partners—including Technology Engineering, Commercial Strategy, Finance, and Operations—to support the definition and execution of product roadmaps, translate business needs into clear requirements, and help measure outcomes for Guest- and Cast-facing initiatives. They will contribute directly to the delivery of technology products across Disney’s Retail and Sports businesses, ensuring alignment with business priorities and an exceptional Guest experience.
What You’ll Do:
Product Ownership and Execution
Own and manage a defined set of Mobile Dine product capabilities, including Table Management, Walkup List, and Mobile Reservation Check‑In.
Contribute to and execute against the product roadmap by aligning business needs, Guest experience goals, operational requirements, and technical feasibility.
Gather, document, and refine product requirements; define acceptance criteria; and maintain a prioritized backlog in partnership with Engineering.
Oversee the agile delivery of product enhancements from requirements through QA, release, and post‑launch evaluation.
Monitor product health, system performance, and operational usage to ensure reliability and scalability in high‑volume restaurant environments.
Define and track measurable outcomes related to Guest satisfaction, Cast efficiency, throughput, and operational performance.
Analyze data, Guest feedback, and operational insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Partner with internal technology teams and external vendors to prioritize defect resolution and incremental enhancements.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Partnership
Work closely with Engineering to understand system architecture, integration points, and technical constraints, ensuring solutions meet product objectives.
Collaborate with Operations Integration, Site Operations, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Analytics, and Finance to ensure alignment and successful execution.
Assist in estimating development effort, quantifying value, and supporting planning and funding discussions.
Team Contribution and Communication
Communicate effectively through written documentation, presentations, and verbal updates to stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
Support feature launches with go‑to‑market planning, user acceptance testing, training coordination, and stakeholder communications.
Support other product managers and business partners through knowledge sharing and day-to-day collaboration.
Qualifications of the Role:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, digital, or technology‑focused roles.
Demonstrated experience managing digital products through the full product lifecycle.
Experience working in Agile development environments, including proficiency with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into product decisions.
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear documentation and present product updates to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in product management, digital, or technology‑focused roles.
Comfort using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
Passion for improving digital Guest experiences and restaurant operational outcomes.
Experience with data and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects) is a plus.
Experience supporting Food & Beverage, retail, or hospitality technology products is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $111,900.00 to $150,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
