Job Summary:

Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions to advance Merchandise operation models and business developments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Supply Chain of Merchandise space.
  • Participate in project activities in relation to Merchandise including user requirement collection, technical implementation and sustainment.
  • Develop test case and strategy to ensure that all the necessary testing such as unit, integration, performance, acceptance tests are well-covered.
  • Collaborate between internal work partners and external vendors.
  • Act as Level 2 application support to Merchandise applications.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics of Merchandise applications, identify and implement areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation, operation guides and training materials.
  • Implement and support Company and Corporate system controls and ensure systems meet compliance standard and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
  • 1 - 6 years of proven experience in implementation and support of Information Technology systems.
  • Experience with Retail Supply Chain, Retail Warehouse and Retail Point-of-Sale solutions is a plus.
  • Hands on experience in Oracle database, Windows and Linux operating environments.
  • Knowledge of Weblogic Server is a bonus.
  • Quick learner with good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work.
  • Demonstrate as a good team player and can work on own initiative with good attention to details and timeline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to liaise between multiple on-shore and off-shore work partners.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
