Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Tier II audits for engineering and maintenance compliance in accordance with Disney Standards and statutory requirements; perform root cause analysis, follow‑up, and report findings.
  • Coordinate Amusement Ride Annual Examination activities, ensuring statutory compliance and acting as the key liaison with EMSD officials and third‑party surveyors for ride licensing and major alterations.
  • Perform routine Quality Engineering duties, include component defect analysis, engineering document amendments review and approval, ride component procurement requirement definition.
  • Review and enhance engineering documentation such as Maintenance Manuals, Maintenance Requirements, engineering specifications, and drawings.
  • Review and follow up on Safety Alerts and Service Bulletins to ensure timely implementation.
  • Support ride and entertainment projects by tracking deliverable readiness against Quality Engineering critical requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners across Engineering, Entertainment, Scientific Systems, and Park Operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years’ post‑qualification experience, with at least 2 years in quality engineering, audits, or multi‑discipline engineering projects.
  • Experience in engineering or maintenance compliance auditing and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with engineering quality processes such as root cause analysis and engineering document change process.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated or safety‑critical operational environment is an advantage.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Flexibility to work non‑office hours as required by operational needs.
