About the Role & Team
Our team based in Hammersmith, West London, are requiring an experienced IT Purchasing Officer to join the Technology business segment. This will be a 12 month fixed-term contract position to support with BAU activity within the team during a busy time period.
You will be working as part of a EMEA IT purchasing & admin team which will allow you to fully integrate into the everyday tasks of the department and giving you the opportunity to work on both day to day business needs and current projects.

What You Will Do
Purchasing & Order Management
Purchase goods and services on behalf of multiple technology teams.
Be the point of contact between Service Delivery Managers and PTP support teams to resolve purchase order (PO) issues, including goods receipting, service entries, and invoice payment issues.
Support IT project managers and finance with project orders, PO queries, approvals, and change orders.
Maintain and organize purchasing records and MS Teams sites to ensure timely and accuracy of cost execution.
Provide proactive financial monitoring via BI dashboard and assist Service Delivery Managers on opex tracking.
Facilitate new vendor setup.
Project & PMO Support
Update and track project files, purchase requisitions and goods/services deliveries.
Support improvement initiatives across purchases and project administration.
Act as backup for other EMEA IT casual buyers and assist in Pcard reconciliation when required.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Maintain relationships with vendors, and work with souring team on suppliers review as well as RFPs as needed.
Ensure purchasing processes comply with company standards and policies.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience working in IT administration, purchasing, or project support roles.
Good understanding of computer systems and technical requests.
Proficiency in Excel, SAP (for purchase orders) and Coupa.
Solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with continuous improvement mindset.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Thorough, rigorous, and detail-oriented.
Adaptable and proactive in supporting process improvements.
