About the Role & Team
** This role is 6-months contract and is based 4 days per week in our Madrid Office and 1 day working from home. You will be required to work 8-hour rotating shifts between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. local time. The shifts rotate every 3 weeks **
We are looking for Playout Content Operator responsible for the coordination in the deliveries of all the materials needed for the playout in time for broadcast - previous checks, reports and critical issues with them! On this role you will be accountable for the legal recordings, as run logs and any matter related to the playout tool. Also responsible for following all the protocols established during an incident. The role will also require knowing how to identify all the alerts received and providing day to day support on need basis.
What You Will Do
Playout
Handling partner-managed Playout
GFX/File formats etc.
SLA Tracking & Reporting
Missing Media Management
Shifting operations in required specially covering EMEA time zone.
Supporting the daily Studio Operations issues.
Communication with business leaderships/operations teams and external partners on status and resolution of reported incidents.
Supervising and maintaining logs of playout services to ensure that SLA’s are achieved and can be reported on as required.
Media Engineering coordination to implement business requests for technical changes to playout automation and system systems, which includes project running the delivery.
New channels launches support, migration of channels along with introduction of new services and workflows within MEO alongside Media Engineering.
Handling reported calls with regards playout systems, assist in the resolution if possible, or raise where needed, while undertaking documenting and final resolution of all reported technical issues.
Managing requests for changes to secondary elements for channels, which will include design, configuration, testing and rollout.
Communication with both internal and external contacts on different organizational levels with regards problems, or forthcoming planned activities.
Continuously reviewing playout operational workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and improvement.
Defining and handling business rules and procedures to ensure timely delivery of content and playlists required for playout operations.
Providing technical assistance to internal external colleagues with regards playlist formats and media delivery specifications.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience (minimum 5 years) related to Broadcast playout operations, Media operations, Digital Media.
Associates degree or equivalent experience and or comparable military/civilian work experience in an appropriate technical area.
Knowledge related to content creation, media formats, audio format, and media transport methods.
Good communication skills in English.
