As a QA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of development projects by coordinating between development teams and QA vendors. Your primary responsibility will be managing the entire QA process, ensuring it aligns with project schedules and budgets, while meeting the highest quality standards. You will identify process inefficiencies, propose improvements, and lead efforts to enhance testing efficiency across diverse devices, all while maintaining smooth collaboration between teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Budget Oversight:

  • Lead vendor selection, procurement, and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with project needs.

  • Oversee and coordinate QA-related meetings, ensuring clear communication and progress tracking.
     

Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor vendor performance and manage workflows to ensure efficient QA operations.

  • Facilitate release judgments, internal coordination, and promptly address any project-related inquiries.
     

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify process challenges across QA and development and propose actionable improvements.

  • Lead the implementation of process changes and guide stakeholder training to optimize quality assurance.
     

Project Execution & Support:

  • Manage project resources and timelines, ensuring smooth progress through technical support.

  • Scrutinize business and functional requirements, oversee acceptance processes, and ensure seamless migration.

  • Deliver regular project reports, highlighting milestones and operational updates.
     

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years in quality assurance or quality control management within medium to large-scale development projects.

    • Extensive experience with mobile/web application development and managing QA operations across diverse teams.
       

  • Skills & Expertise:

    • Strong foundation in automated testing, test script writing, and evaluating results.

    • Basic programming knowledge, with additional expertise in databases, cloud services (e.g., AWS), and infrastructure management a plus.
       

  • Language Proficiency:

    • Native-level proficiency in Japanese.

    • Business-level fluency in English (TOEIC 800+ preferred).
