Job Title - Engineer 4 - ESE
Location - Mumbai
Job Summary – This is an individual contributor role responsible for overall architecture of bespoke applications defining tech transformation and vision for Enterprise Application development team, supporting and creating Bespoke applications, Microsite development, Robotic Process Automation & Document Management Services. The person will also be responsible for right technical stack and skills alignment within the team.
About the team – Enterprise application Development team is a horizontal function to all departments of Disney star providing services in :
Bespoke Application development on Microsoft technologies over Azure or AWS Robotic process automation using UiPath and PowerAutomate
Site/Microsite development using Angular and .net.
Document Management services using Sharepoint
Domain management services
The team has developers of varied skills who work on small to large scale projects as planned/needed.
The Enterprise Application Development team works in partnership with Enterprise Application Support teams handling all critical and financial applications for disney star and the Data Science teams on creating next gen analytical or data driven applications.
Key Responsibilities –
Design, develop, and manage new features and functionality for applications, across multiple business units, platforms, and technologies.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend technology solutions to improve current processes.
Maintain relationships with vendors, management, and other groups.
Use industry best practices to increase productivity and efficiency.
Work with developers to translate business requirements and technical specifications.
Develop architecture diagrams and software models.
Perform analyses on current architecture.
Provide technical leadership and expertise.
Skills & Attributes for success –
Hands on and proficient in programming languages like Node JS, C#, ASP.net, SQL etc.
Familiarity with designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level N-tier architecture in Microsoft .NET framework.
Expertise and knowledge with Test automation tools and RPAs/RTAs
Exceptional problem-solving skills and out of the box thinker
Able to articulate and explain complex technical nuances to business users both in written and oral forms of communication.
Able to bring together various disparate team and org structures in alignment to the proposed architecture.
Excellent team player
Preferred Education & Experience
Must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Technology, computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related fields.
Must have 8+ years for experience along with the following:
Proven experience architecting software systems
Experience with web and/or mobile front-end technologies
Experience with Big Data technologies
Experience with leading Cloud platforms Azure, AWS, GCP
TOGAF certification preferred.
