To support this momentum, we’re looking for a Country Strategy Manager to lead the sales and marketing strategy for the Benelux and GSA markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands and Belgium).
This is a high‑impact strategic role sitting within the Disneyland Paris Marketing Strategy team in Paris, working at the intersection of insight, creativity and commercial performance. You will act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders and local market teams—shaping plans that drive attendance, revenue and long‑term value.
This 18‑month fixed‑term opportunity offers the chance to make a real strategic contribution at a critical moment of growth for Disneyland Paris, while gaining deep exposure to senior stakeholders, multi‑market strategy and European commercial leadership.
About the role
Working closely with the Senior Manager, Country Heads and local marketing teams, you will:
- Act as a strategic thinking partner for the Benelux and GSA markets
- Lead the marketing and sales strategy to deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets
- Balance short‑term commercial priorities with longer‑term strategic thinking
- Represent and safeguard the central commercial strategy across local markets, while constructively challenging and supporting teams to achieve results
What you will do
Shape winning strategies
- Analyse consumer behaviour, business performance, financial results, competitive dynamics and past initiatives to identify clear insights, opportunities and risks
- Translate insights into actionable strategies and initiatives, aligned to central strategic priorities
- Contribute to short‑, medium‑ and long‑term strategy, helping shape future growth plans for the destination
Drive AOP delivery
- Lead the strategic planning of annual AOP projects, including:
- Media strategy and planning
- Message architecture and campaign calendars
- Sales and promotional strategies
- Oversee performance analysis and develop recommendations
- Present progress, insights and recommendations to the Sales Executive Committee
Influence investment and decision‑making
- Contribute to profitability analyses and discussions supporting the validation of marketing and sales investments
- Prepare and present clear, structured strategic recommendations to senior management
Be a strategic connector
- Act as the key link between central and local teams, ensuring consistency, challenge and strategic alignment
- Partner closely with marketing, sales, finance and insight teams across a highly matrixed, multicultural environment
- Influence through credibility, clarity and strong strategic thinking rather than hierarchy
What we’re looking for
- Master’s degree (Bac +5) from a Business School or equivalent
- Extensive experience in Marketing, Strategy or Consulting, ideally within FMCG, Luxury, Cosmetics or Travel
- Experience working across multiple markets and international environments
- Fluent English is essential
- German, French and/or Dutch is an advantage, but not essential
Skills & strengths
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to simplify complexity
- Excellent business writing and presentation skills
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and multiple complex priorities
Key competencies
- Strategic, conceptual thinker with a strong commercial mindset
- Curious, creative and forward‑thinking
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and cultures
- Able to manage significant workload autonomously and effectively
- Strong collaborator who builds trust in multi‑cultural teams
- Proactive, resilient and energized by challenge
Why join Disneyland Paris?
- Take on a visible strategic role at one of Europe’s most iconic destinations
- Work in a pan‑European, multicultural environment with senior exposure
- Combine strategy, insight and creativity in a role with genuine influence
- Benefit from a hybrid working model while staying connected to your local office
- Be part of a company where storytelling, innovation and guest experience matter every day
