Job Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager within the Ad Platforms, you will be a part of the team redefining Video advertising! You will be responsible for product vision, strategy and execution to establish the future of The Walt Disney Company’s Ad Operations and integrations needs across Disney’s linear and streaming video.

The right person for this role can identify business value, solve complex technical problems, concisely articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and ultimately get results. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Execute on product strategy and plan for core areas of ad operations and trafficking for advertising use cases across linear TV and related integrations.
  • Responsible for product prioritization, including value identification, cost savings and progress against the broader business strategy, within your specific area.
  • Maintain expected standards across the team for product specifications, backlog health, and consumable user stories for engineering partners.
  • Product owner for a Scrum team by participating agile ceremonies, responsible for prioritization, backlog refinement, and feature definition.
  • Hold a deep compassion for our users, and creatively address problems with a viewer-first mentality.
  • Partner with Data Analyst and Research organizations to develop KPIs and experiments supporting product value, including optimization strategies for Return On Ad Spend.
  • Partner with the Ad Sales team in building a product line that enhances revenue potential and reduces operational friction.
  • Partner with Engineering organization to complete the product roadmap, delivering on the needs of the business.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, highly preferred from established technology or digital media company.
  • BA/BS required or equivalent experience
  • Strong awareness of market capabilities within advertising use cases.
  • Proven experience and success in a product role with the ability to demonstrate a record of success.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse set of tech and non-tech partners.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a sophisticated, always-changing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Understanding of how sales organizations operate and function in media organizations.
  • Experience implementing closed-loop optimization subsystems.

The hiring range for this position in New York is $149,000 to $199,870 per year and in California is $142,600-$191,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
