The Product Management team guides the strategy and vision for Disney’s incredible global digital products portfolio - from Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and the ESPN App to Marvel Unlimited, National Geographic, ABC and ABC News, and film websites and games. This team impacts the way millions of people around the world experience and engage with Disney’s iconic stories and unmatched content in more personalized and immersive ways, leveraging cutting-edge technologies ranging from Machine Learning to Extended Reality.

Job Summary

The Disney Entertainment and ESPN Technology (DE&ET) Product Management team focuses on addressing the exciting and rapidly evolving landscape of video streaming and entertainment products. As a Senior Product Manager on the Lifecycle Product Team, you will have the unique opportunity to own and drive the development of features related to our proprietary messaging and CRM platform. In this role, you will work closely with marketing, operations, data, design, engineering, and other product teams to deliver exceptional tools and capabilities that enable us to create unforgettable experiences for our Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ subscribers.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with development teams to design, build, and deliver new features and enhancements to our messaging platform.

  • Define clear and detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Conduct user testing to validate feature usability and functionality.

  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across Disney, including marketing, operations, localization, design, engineering, and other product teams.

  • Communicate product updates, progress, and timelines effectively to all relevant parties.

  • Collaborate with our data and experimentation teams to run A/B experiments and validate hypotheses.

  • Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management or relevant experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.

  • Deep understanding of messaging platforms, content management systems, and/or digital marketing tools.

  • Experience with product tradeoffs and end-to-end product delivery.

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.

  • Comfortable working in a fast changing, ambiguous work environment intersecting cross-functional teams.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica and Glendale, CA is $136,038 to $182,490 per year, New York, New York is $142,516 to $191,180 per year, Seattle, WA is $142,516 to $191,180 per year, and in San Francisco, CA is $148,994 to $199,870 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
