This Sr Staff Segment Integration Lead role will serve as the main liaison between Enterprise Technology & Disney Experiences Technology, having accountability for in-depth knowledge of area strategy and roadmap for both business areas, including existing, in-flight and future services, products, and programs. This role will facilitate collaboration with the appropriate department decision makers on key integration opportunities, identifying and resolving dependencies and impacts proactively for resolution of any potential concerns This role is highly interactive and requires the ability to quickly build and maintain high trust relationships with multiple key collaborators. The individual must also possess deep technical expertise and a thorough understanding of technical roadmaps. Curiosity and passion for emerging technology, particularly where it can be brought to bear in the entertainment industry to enhance the user’s experience while maintaining efficiency, is also crucial to this individual’s success in this role. Responsibilities for this role include:

Relationship Management and Collaboration:

  • Gain deep understanding of segment business and supporting technology organization

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve a repeatable effective engagement model for the specific needs of business unit that aligns with existing Enterprise Technology processes and timelines

  • Facilitate consensus building and lead by influence without authority

  • Build credibility by maintaining and being a great partner with key segment technology leaders, possessing a strong presence that will inspire trust

  • Connect technologists between Enterprise Technology and Disney Experiences Technology teams as appropriate

  • Communicate data and metrics on performance and efficiency of Enterprise Technology services & operations used by Disney Experiences Technology

  • Collaborate on identifying efficiency and cost reduction opportunities when needed

Technology Strategy Alignment:

  • Partner with Disney Experiences Technology leaders to understand their needs and technology strategies

  • Be aware of and engaged in overall Enterprise Technology strategy and roadmaps, and act as a bridge to Disney Experiences Technology priorities

  • Maintain extensive understanding (and ability to succinctly articulate) department strategy

  • Convey Disney Experiences Technology’s input on Enterprise Technology strategies, processes, and investments

  • Proactively solicit feedback, identify potential misalignments across roadmaps, and drive resolution to reduce those misalignments

  • Partner in facilitating cross segment, coordinated initiatives

Change Management:

  • Provide guidance and education to Disney Experiences Technology leaders and respective organizations regarding implementations and improvements (including planned changes) of Enterprise Technology shared services and key program implementations

  • Engage the appropriate Enterprise Technology service and program leaders, based on the needs of Disney Experiences Technology to provide deeper dives when needed

  • When appropriate, introduce new services and facilitate sun-setting services

  • Ensure training and change management activities are planned and communicated well in advance, and validated to be effective

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience working with technology teams and executive leadership in a sophisticated, matrixed environment

  • 4+ years of IT program/project management experience

  • Validated foundation in technology principles and services including infrastructure, applications, data management, security, platforms and products (both back-end and consumer facing)

  • Experience serving as a liaison, specifically delivery groups focused on effective and efficient delivery of services to clients

  • Experience with running client relationships, participating in planning sessions, and facilitating the prioritization of work and technology investment decisions

  • Ability to act in the role of change agent as businesses look to technology to enable more efficient and flexible operations, as well as drive high quality customer experiences

  • Exemplary communication, negotiation, issue resolution, & business case development experience

  • Bachelor’s degree within a STEM field, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA and/or equivalent advanced degree

  • Prior experience working closely with Disney technology teams

  • Experience within process/continuous improvement and key performance indicator identification

  • Experience in complex program management

  • Experience in consulting or agency environment
