Job Summary:
The Disney DTC Viewer Experience organization is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Content Management Systems (CMS) to join the Self-Service Product team and scale a global platform powering Disney+ and Hulu Help Centers.
In this role, you will define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a CMS and editorial tools that enable Content, Social, and Localization teams to create, manage, and publish high-quality support content for millions of viewers around the world. You will solve complex operational challenges and lead the evolution of a foundational product that drives efficiency, accelerates time to publish, and enables scalable growth. This role requires strong product leadership across workflow systems, content architecture, platform integrations, and innovation.
We’re seeking a strategic product leader who thrives in ambiguity, balances business and engineering tradeoffs, and influences global stakeholders. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable defining long-term direction and diving into execution details to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for content management systems that will improve workflow, content quality, and publishing velocity of support and production education content
Drive roadmap prioritization across stakeholders, balancing technical feasibility, business impact, and long-term platform solutions
Lead end-to-end product development from discovery through launch and optimization, effectively communicating requirements and user stories to Engineering, Design, and Product
Translate complex stakeholder needs (Content, Social, Legal, Localization) into scalable platform capabilities and system integrations
Identify systematic gaps across editorial tools, processes, and integrations; Architect and evolve content lifecycle workflows, including authoring, metadata, review, versioning, localization, and publishing based on user feedback
Champion platform adoption and change management across global content teams through enablement support, documentation, and training
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including AI solutions, automation, and workflow intelligence
Define and analyze success metrics to measure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, and guide roadmap prioritization
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of product management experience, including ownership of CMS, content platforms, or workflow-driven systems
Proven track record of leading platform strategy with measurable impact in complex, global organizations
Experience designing and optimizing end-to-end content lifecycle workflows (authoring, review, localization, publishing, governance)
Leads product strategy and execution of a global CMS platform, driving measurable operational impact while balancing stakeholder, technical, and business priorities
Operates autonomously in ambiguous environments, proactively identifying platform gaps and driving scalable solutions, including workflow automation and tooling enhancements
Influences cross-functional stakeholders through clear, data-driven communication and presentations, building trusted partnerships across global teams
Balances competing priorities, makes data-informed trade-offs, and aligns roadmap investments to measurable business and operational outcomes
Define KPIs, analyze performance data, and leverages data and customer insights to drive product optimization
Deep understanding of content architecture, localization workflow and platform integrations, and publishing systems
Strong knowledge of modern product frameworks, Agile methodologies, and UX principles to effectively partner with engineering and design
Technical fluency with APIs, system architecture and integrations, and scalable platform design
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in customer support environments, knowledge management systems (e.g. Salesforce), or translation management systems (e.g. Smartling)
Experience in modernizing legacy CMS platforms
Familiarity with AI-enabled content tooling and automation
Passion for building world-class viewer experiences at The Walt Disney Company

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica and Glendale, California is $155,700.00 - $208,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
