We are looking to add a Senior Process Engineer Analyst to join us on the Process and Performance team.! Help us as we transform the organization – establishing “what good looks like” for Enterprise Technology, ensuring teams are passionate about the highest priorities, and acting as the process proficiency center for an effective and efficient organization.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for understanding the process issues within the organization and coming up with creative solutions that drive cost efficiencies. This role uses simple processes to optimize the end to end environment.

  • Identify strengths and areas for process improvement, establishing links between business strategies and improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.

  • Provide knowledge and expertise throughout the design and improvement of processes.

  • Perform root cause analysis and assist in creating recommendations for improvement.

  • Meet with business and technical leaders to identify and scope opportunities, outline potential value and return on investment, and identify risks and constraints.

  • Assist Senior Architects in interpreting internal and external business issues and recommends best practices.

  • Tackle sophisticated problems; taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.

  • Analyze data for trends and recommend possible improvements/solutions.

  • Gather the tactical and strategic business goals that provide traceability through the organization and map them to metrics that provide ongoing governance capability.

  • Evaluate existing processes using interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, Kaizen Events, user scenarios, process maps, task and workflow analysis.

  • Facilitate and lead tiger team meetings.

  • Enumerate, analyze, catalog, and suggest improvements to the strategic, core and support processes of the business.

  • Define the data elements shared between the various business units in the enterprise and the relationships between those data elements and processes, people, systems, and other process elements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience

  • Experience in process improvement, quality engineering, and/or industrial engineering

  • Experience with ITIL (or Dev Ops) or Lean/Six Sigma or Capability Maturity Model (CMMI), or IT4IT or TOGAF

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Washington is $129,806-$174,130 per year and in California is $123,902-$166,210 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
