Team Description:
As a part of the Product & Agile Coach, you will play a hands-on coaching and change leadership role in guiding teams through the transition from a project-based delivery model to a product-centric delivery model. You will work directly with product teams and leaders to help them adopt new mindsets, methods, and behaviors required to operate successfully in a product model.
This role focuses on coaching teams where they are, apply product principles in real delivery scenarios, and build confidence in new ways of working. You will be a visible change agent, supporting teams as they experiment, learn, and steadily mature their product practices. This role is ideal for someone who is a strong team coach and has experienced the project to product delivery model transformation.
You will partner closely with Product Managers, Agile Coaches, Engineering leaders, and Enterprise Architecture to reinforce aligned ways of working, remove friction, and accelerate adoption of the Product Operating Model across Enterprise Technology and Data.
What You’ll Do:
Provide hands-on coaching to teams as they move from project delivery to persistent product teams
Support teams in applying product thinking, outcome-based planning, and continuous delivery improvement practices
Guide teams in adopting new planning, funding, prioritization, and delivery methods aligned to the Product Operating Model
Reinforce practical application of product practices such as roadmapping, OKRs, backlog management, dependency management, and value measurement
Help teams navigate common transition challenges and trade-offs
Act as a trusted change leader
Support the adoption of product, agile, and DevSecOps standards and templates throughout the delivery lifecycle
Support the definition of Product Operating Model (POM) standards, including frameworks, governance structures, and best practices across the product lifecycle
Translate product operating model principles into actionable processes and tool configurations (e.g., Jira workflows, intake processes, prioritization frameworks)
Develop and facilitate hands on training workshops for product and agile principles
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and inconsistencies in current product practices and recommend improvements to enhance speed and product quality
Monitor adoption and effectiveness of standards through defined metrics, continuously iterating based on feedback and performance
Act as a steward of consistency across the product organization, ensuring scalable and repeatable ways of working
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product management and agile methodologies, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
5-7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Business Analysis, or Agile Delivery within a large enterprise environment
Strong understanding of Product Operating Models and product lifecycle management concepts
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly lead large scale workshops
Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and frameworks (e.g., SAFe),
Hands-on experience with product and agile tools (e.g., Jira, Miro, Airtable, Smartsheet)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex processes into structured, scalable solutions
Experience working in cross-functional environments, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Business teams
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, consistency, and continuous improvement
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant industry Agile and Product Management qualifications (e.g. AIPMM Certified Product Manager, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC))
